Welcome to Sixth Grade!
"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education." Martin Luther King, Jr.
The best way to find out about the happenings in sixth grade is to look in one of two places:
1) Ask your student to log in to Google Classroom and look at the section on the left hand side marked "To-Do." This will list all the current and past assignments. Anything marked missing - should be completed and submitted.
2) Click on the button below to check out our family website. We've got links posted there for both students and parents and they are stored all in one place! There is also copy of our student planner there so you can see what homework is due. The planner is always your best option for knowing exactly what is for homework on a given night.
To order books from Scholastic, please click the button below and use code FN37F.
Here is a list of resources and books that we use in class.

Work Experience
Before becoming a teacher I worked for the City of Cincinnati City Council. However, I felt called to become a teacher and went back to school at Xavier. I have been lucky to spend my entire teaching career here at Villa! This will be my 18th year in sixth grade.
